Our Year 1 Classes are Class 3 and Class 4. Children in Year 1 follow the programmes of study for the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1.

Year 1 children enjoy a visit to the Victorian School, Llangollen as part of a topic on "My School". They also study journeys and travel to Liverpool by train and ferry. In addition they are visited each year by Mis'Oshi from Africa who works with them on a multicultural topic.

Year 1 have been doing a variety of work on the topic of Jack and the Beanstalk.
